Forschung und Lehre haben im Vinzenz Pathologieverbund einen wichtigen Stellenwert. Das Team von Fachärztinnen und Fachärzten rund um Institutsvorstand Prim. Univ.-Prof. Dr. Farid Moinfar widmet sich insbesondere der wissenschaftlichen Forschung an Tumore der Mamma und der gynäkologischen Organen. Derzeit laufen mehrere Projekte mit nationalen und internationalen Instituten.

Die hohe Qualität der Ausbildung an den beiden Instituten wird über die Vincent Academy of Pathology (VAP) unterstützt, die ein breites Spektrum an diagnostischen Veranstaltungen für praktizierenden und angehenden Pathologinnen und Pathologen bietet und sich international einen hervorragenden Ruf erworben hat.
